Chocolate Milk

Chocolate milk is ALWAYS a favorite at the Hesterberg house. I am quite a fan myself, and my nephews and niece have the biggest smiles when “Auntie E” makes chocolate milk for them. A whole jug vanishes quickly!

I first saw this recipe on Instagram and thought I’d give it a try. It looked so simple and had whole, basic ingredients.

This recipe is quick and simple, yet has excellent flavor. I hope you give this chocolate milk a try!

Delicious Chocolate Milk

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup Cacao or Cocoa Powder

  • 1/4 cup Maple Syrup

  • 1/4 cup Hot Water (not boiling)

  • Splash Vanilla

  • Pinch Sea Salt

  • 1/2 gal. Raw Milk

Directions:

  1. Blend all ingredients except milk with a whisk until the lumps of cocoa powder are dissolved.

  2. Add the chocolate mixture to the milk.

  3. Shake until the chocolate mixture is no longer on the bottom of the jug. After the chocolate milk sits in the refrigerator for a while, you will need to shake the jug to reincorporate the chocolate.
