Simple Custard Pie

Are you a creamy custard pie lover? I sure am!

Well, honestly, I love just about any dessert made with dairy products!

I specifically love this pie because it is not only delicious, it is quick and easy to make. Adding flour along with the other ingredients creates a self-forming crust on the bottom of the pie when it bakes.

Simple Custard Pie

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup Melted Butter

  • 4 Eggs

  • 1/2 cup Cane Sugar

  • 1 pinch Sea Salt

  • 2 cups Raw Milk

  • 2 tsp Pure Vanilla Extract

  • 1/2 cup All Purpose Flour (I love Janie’s Mill All Purpose Flour)

  • Ground Cinnamon or Nutmeg, for topping

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees

  2. Put all ingredients in a blender (except the cinnamon or nutmeg)

  3. Blend for 30 seconds or until smooth

  4. Pour the blended mixture into a buttered pie pan and garnish with the cinnamon or nutmeg

  5. Bake for 45 minutes or until the pie is set

  6. Enjoy!
